MAIDEN BREW DONE BY OUR TRAINEES

As part of their training as systems mechanics, 18 trainees of KASPAR SCHULZ self-dependently manufactured a small brewhouse. The project was launched to deepen the practical relevance of the training and to strengthen the team spirit among the trainees. All steps of the manufacturing process were performed self-dependently after instruction by our specialists. This 6-month project, which ran parallel to the classical teaching contents, was attended by the instructor Jürgen Hofmann and the manufacturing director Rudolf Eckstein. The closing event of the project – the production of a 250-liters-batch of “Helles Landbier”, a blond, full-bodied Bavarian lager beer, brewed with Weyermann® Pilsner malt and Carahell – and the tapping of the excellent finished beer at the internal Christmas party, finally convinced all SCHULZ staff of the trainees´ skills.
